I'm sure we have all been to an airport to go somewhere either on vacation or a trip to grandma's for christmas. We have all stood in that long security line and at the end of the line we get to stand in a metal box while a stranger looks at our nude body to check if we have a bomb on us. This new process is very good because it is, "stopping terrorists who seem to be developing more ingenious ways to slip weapons past security"(http://www.annenbergclassroom.org/speakout/airport-body-scanners-necessary-precaution-or-invasion-of-privacy). These new scanners are basically a foolproof way to determine if you have a bomb/weapon or not. It is a great idea to ensure the safety of all passengers aboard. I am all for it because I would rather have a stranger, (who I probably will never see again), see me naked rather than me dying on a plane. Some people however oppose, "these scans as overly intrusive, comparing them to virtual strip searches."(http://www.annenbergclassroom.org/speakout/airport-body-scanners-necessary-precaution-or-invasion-of-privacy). These people are true though because the reviewer can see you and your bare body. This may sometimes reveal embarrassing facts about you like an adult diaper or a colostomy bag, but you must bear in mind that the person who is seeing you can only see a virtual image of you, your face is blurred, and cellphones/cameras are banned in the viewing room to prevent them from taking pictures. So it is guaranteed that the viewer can not tell who he is viewing and the photos are immediately deleted. After knowing all of this I would rather have my privacy invaded than being blown up on a plane.
